Exposition Biarritz 1945, un campus à l'Américaine

To mark the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 80th anniversary of the American University of Biarritz, the City of Biarritz and the France-United States Basque Coast Association (FEUCB) are presenting the exhibition “Biarritz 1945,” An American-Style Campus, from July 4 to 31 in the Media Library Hall.

The exhibition “Biarritz 1945, An American-Style Campus, is an opportunity to highlight this chapter in the city’s history, during which many American soldiers underwent various training programs in Biarritz between 1945 and 1946. At the time, the city was the only one selected to host an open-air university campus.
