Exposition au Bel Ordinaire: Imagier Flottant

In Pau, Gaby Bazin transforms printed images into moving sculptures. The artist and children?s author invites young and old alike to compose a giant mobile, choosing two images to balance, then linking them to others. Floor by floor, the associations come to life, as the air blows, the vibrations vibrate and the contemplation takes hold. Somewhere between dreams, typographic play and graphic experimentation, this collective work extends the colorful, sensitive universe of his books. Silkscreen, etching, screens and solids provide material for viewing, manipulating and dreaming. A lively, participatory exhibition to be built together, step by step, image by image.
