Eusfera, Journée autour de la langue basque

From May 7 to 17, the Taupa movement, in partnership with local authorities and players, is organizing a region-wide initiative called Eusfera, aimed at parents of children aged 0 to 12, whether Basque-speaking or not.

In Urrugne, the Ikastola d'Urrugne, the Ciboure book fair and the town hall are organizing a full day of activities to practice Euskara as a family.

On the program:

Morning: a mutxiko workshop offered by the Dantzatuz association

Noon: as part of AZOKAROA, organized by the Ciboure book fair, a travelling poetry recital based on the book Uhaintsaren negarra by Jon Garmendia and Ortzi Oihartzabal

Afternoon: a board game workshop in Basque, led by the Jokorin association, for families. For non-Basque-speaking parents, this will be an opportunity to learn a few words in Basque
