Danse : bOta

The Elirale-Pantxika Telleria Company invited two of its young artists, Joana Millet-Arias and Jon Vernier-Bareigts, to create a street performance for audiences of all ages.

Titled bOta, this choreographic and musical piece is based on the movement of jumping. A gesture that resonates at the heart of traditional Catalan and Basque dances and serves as the starting point for a journey both danced and sung, drawing on the respective cultures of the choreographers and performers. Accompanied live by musician Xabi Darthayette, the duo creates a sensitive, participatory, and joyful encounter, enriched by stories and rhythms, all within a whirlwind of shared energy.
