MIXTE is a training academy organized by the Proxima Centauri ensemble for composers and performers wishing to discover or deepen their knowledge of mixed music, combining instrumental ensembles and electronic devices.

A laboratory for experimentation, it offers a privileged time and place where musicians, accompanied by professionals, can meet, listen to each other, exchange ideas and create.

MIXTE supports the emergence of new generations of artists by supporting five creative projects by young international composers, and through a week-long course at the Conservatoire for performers and creators alike, including workshops, master classes, cartes blanches and seminars. Concerts, lectures and introductory workshops at all levels are open to all.
