Concert : Trio Sazon

The Sazón Trio was formed when Sara Brenier, Nils Frechilla, and Stéphane Lopez

came together to perform a repertoire of Latin American songs.

Together, these three musicians reinterpret Peruvian waltzes, boleros, and llaneras

from Venezuela. They breathe new life into gems by legendary Latin American singers

Latin America, such as Atahualpa Yupanqui, Victor Jara, Simon Diaz, Mercedes Sosa, and others.

A few original compositions are gradually establishing a more personal repertoire born

of cultural fusions and “world music” influences.

Together, they create music that is personal, socially conscious, rich, and rhythmic, all

imbued with sensitivity. On stage, the joy of sharing is evident in their generosity, emotion, and a

spirit of universality.
