Concert: Pantxoa eta Peio

In the late 1960s and early 1970s, singing in Basque was a way of fighting back, and Pantxoa and Peio's work was a megaphone for the defense of Basque culture. By setting to music texts by Manex Pagola, Telesforo Monzón, Manex Erdozaintzi-Etxart, Xalbador and many other authors, their songs have become anthems for several generations.

This final tour by Pantxoa eta Peio was built in memory of their years on the stages and roads of the Basque Country in Iparralde and Hegoalde, meeting the local people. They have chosen places with particular symbolic value.

They want to take advantage of this tour to express their gratitude to all those who organized and supported their 1st concerts, and who sang their songs for them
