Founded in 1966 among the working-class and farming communities of a small hamlet near Oloron, this men’s choir has been revitalized over the generations. Now led by Jean-Claude Aguirre, their 14 voices, imbued with the spirit of the land, celebrate the mountains and pastoral life through shepherd songs, tunes from Béarn and Gascony, and original compositions. Far from sophisticated harmonies, it is the spirit of folk music in all its nobility that is expressed here. An authentic and warm evening!
