Halima is accompanied by stringed and percussion instruments (harp, guitar, cuatro, charango, darbuka) as she sings of exile, love, and hope—the forces that have shaped cultures. From South America to the Celtic lands, to the French songs of yesteryear, a musical journey back in time that spans memories and continents.
