After discovering that his music seems to mysteriously attract cetaceans, composer Rone sets out on a unique adventure: attempting to establish a musical dialogue with a humpback whale in the open sea. Will she respond? With a title that sounds like a La Fontaine fable, we are nevertheless drawn into a very real story—one that is also enchanting and tremendously inspiring. By focusing above all on an experience of listening and wonder in the face of animal emotions, the film allows us to hear, in its own way, a part of the song of the oceans.
