Lebanese activist Georges Abdallah was incarcerated for almost 41 years in France. This pro-Palestinian communist resistance fighter was branded a "terrorist". Wrongly so. Incredible fake news and strong pressure exerted by the United States on France were behind this extraordinary length of detention. At 74, he managed to emerge from prison on his feet, his political convictions intact.
