Gogotik - a name that means "with good heart, with pleasure" - was born in November 2007 in Saint?Jean?Pied?de?Port. Since its creation, the group?s mission has been to bring to life, share and celebrate the tradition of singing in the Basque Country.

While choral singing is often associated with complex religious or secular works, Gogotik brings a singular touch: a festive, convivial and accessible repertoire, performed in Basque, Spanish and French. Songs designed to be taken up spontaneously, to bring people together, to create a bond? as one naturally does between friends.
