Canyon journée sportive, Ourdaibi ou Harpea
Shortly before its junction with the source of the Nive river, the Harpea torrent enters a wild gorge that offers a more sporting approach to the canyon. In the first section, one waterfall follows another. Rope abseils are used to cross them. Several jumps are available for those who wish to do so. The second part is more of an aquatic hike, but waterfalls still punctuate the route, which ends at the source of the Nive. Depending on the flow of the stream, the torrent may disappear in the second part of the canyon due to a loss (a frequent natural phenomenon in limestone), but the springs are a great opportunity to get back in the water!
