As part of the program to raise awareness of coastal risks developed with the Communauté d'Agglomération Pays Basque, we offer this nature outing on the coast.
It's a short walk of +/- 6km round trip to look together at the phenomena of erosion in this part of the coastline.
With a geomorphologist, scientific mediator and CPIE project manager, we'll talk about the sands of the region's small "pocket beaches", the alterites and the protection put in place against erosion.
Together, we'll take part in an easy-to-learn "participatory workshop" to better understand the phenomena of coastal erosion
The outing will take us to the site of the "Coastsnap" beach erosion monitoring network set up by BRGM. Participatory science for all!
