Au fil de la laine: Atelier estival

This event allows visitors to discover the world of wool, from the rearing of ewes to the processing of this natural resource, via the pastoral and craft skills associated with it. Through a lively, educational approach accessible to all, it highlights local heritage, mountain farming practices and the links between man, animal and territory. 10:30 am: welcome at the aberouat refuge . 11am: Departure for the river (short 45-minute walk), picnic not provided. Washing and sun-drying of wool. 2 p.m.: Return to the refuge with felting of the wool. You can leave with the object you've created. Open to all, from the youngest to the oldest.
