5km south of Pau, Gan is an old Béarnaise bastide with an interesting heritage.

You can see the old bastide gate and some well restored historic houses. Here you can also visit the "Caves de Gan" and buy Jurançon wine. Just in front of the cellar, under the trees and in a pleasant green area, you will find several picnic tables, a stone's throw from the main road.
