Clos Lapeyre

Clos Lapeyre is located 15 minutes south of Pau on the slopes of Jurançon. The family business, traditionally devoted to mixed farming, has specialised in vines and wine since Jean-Bernard Larrieu took over in 1985.

The vineyard, which is situated at an altitude of 350 to 400 metres, now covers 18 hectares, half of which are terraced and face the Pyrenees. It is mainly composed of Mansengs: indigenous, late and demanding grape varieties. From the vine to the wine, the work is meticulously carried out by a small motivated team who are passionate about nature, work well done and healthy, expressive wines. During your visit, you will have all the leisure to discover our vineyard and its history. Le Clos Lapeyre has adapted its production philosophy to environmental issues. The visit of the cellars and the small museum will be followed if you wish by a wine tasting.
