La Pêcherie d’Aurit

In Hagetaubin, a small village in the Bearn region near Arthez de Bearn and the Puy route of the Compostela paths.

La Pêcherie d'Aurit, a wildlife park with 800 breeding animals in semi-liberty, occupies a 30 ha forest estate. A real paradise for all. Children can pet, observe, feed dwarf goats, sheep, donkeys, ponies, guinea pigs, rabbits, llamas, peacocks, swans, ornamental hens... We also like to fish for trout with equipment and bait provided. Calmness reigns in this green setting of about fifty listed trees: oaks, beeches, ashes, chestnut trees, cherry trees, maples... A walk or a pony ride. The Aurit fishery is also equipped for picnics in the shade of the large trees.
