Some species such as the Thuya plicata had just been introduced in France. Cedar, giant sequoia, Lawson cypress, maple, linden, magnolia, chestnut, plane tree, spruce, Japanese cherry blossom and bunch cherry, weeping willow, prunus... 64 species listed in the garden and a dozen on the Horizontal Drive.
