Parcours Arboré des Eaux-Bonnes

Rich of an architectural heritage dating from the Second Empire which was accompanied by the creation in 1861 of an English garden, called Darralde garden (in honor of Doctor Darralde, Water Inspector, who by his research work, confirmed the fame of the thermal waters), the oldest tree plantations date from this time. Some species such as the Thuya plicata had just been introduced in France. Cedar, giant sequoia, Lawson cypress, maple, linden, magnolia, chestnut, plane tree, spruce, Japanese cherry blossom and bunch cherry, weeping willow, prunus... 64 species listed in the garden and a dozen on the Horizontal Drive.
