Parc pommé

This large wooded park is located at the entrance to the town of Oloron Sainte-Marie, north of the route de Pau. In this 38,000 m² space, there are 383 trees of 34 different varieties, some of which are remarkable trees (notably a group of magnificent beech trees). At the top of the park, a kiosk recalls the charm of the 19th-century park, as does the Poets' Garden, inaugurated in 1983, which features seven authors known for their attachment to Oloron Sainte-Marie: F. JAMMES, A. BEARN, T. DEREME, H. LIEUTAUX, X. NAVARROT, A. PEYRE, J. SUPERVIELLE.
