Maison du Patrimoine

In the Marque house, beautiful building of the XVIIth century, come to discover the richnesses of our area. Ground floor: presentation of the archeological discoveries made in Oloron Sainte-Marie and its surroundings, reconstitution of a traditional bearnes kitchen, medieval garden and its medicinal herbs.

1st floor: panelling room, collections of portraits (family of notables of Oloron), textile industry room (presentation of the local handicraft, espadrilles, wool work), temporary exhibition room.

2nd floor: exhibition about the Gurs camp
