living/dining room open onto the green plains of Béarn des Gaves. Only the sound of birdsong can rouse you from your slumber. A little extra: the swimming pool for a refreshing swim. All around you, nature invites you to put on your sneakers for a hike, unless you'd prefer to don your bathing suit for a rafting trip. History lovers will be delighted to meet up at Camp de Gurs for a remembrance tour, or on the ramparts of the bastioned town of Navarrenx.
