How to get there

From Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, head for Saint-Palais on the D518 (the road that passes over the Col des Palombières). About 500m after the church, cross a small bridge over the Ruisseau St Martin. 150m after the bridge, turn left onto chemin Helardoy: you'll see a green EDF transformer substation at the entrance to the (tarmac) road. Etxexuria is the house with green shutters at the end of the asphalt road.
