La Closerie du Guilhat

Salies-de-Béarn is situated halway between Pau, the Basque Coast and the Spanish border and is facing the Pyrenean range. The property is located approximately 4 kms from the city centre and the thermal baths. This old mansion, typical for the Béarn region, hosts 4 guest rooms, labelled 3 ears (stars) by Gites de Frances. Dinners at the Table d'Hôte and breakfast are served either in the dining room, near the large fireplace, or on the terrace.

The mansion has been owned for several generations by a family of nurserymen who have laid out the parc with various plant species, making it a very pleasing to the eye place facing the Pyrenean range.
