Ecogîte du soum de Thès

This barn is named after the peak that overlooks it. Its renovation is part of an environmental preservation approach that earned it the Eco Gîte qualification: healthy materials and insulation (wood, wool, hemp, cork, organic paints), techniques leading to low energy consumption (Canadian well, double-flow CMV, wood stove, heating wall in raw earth, solar collectors). In a green setting, forests and walks are nearby. The ground floor consists of a large living room, a lounge with wood stove, a kitchen, a bedroom equipped with 2 beds 90x200 cm, a bathroom and toilet accessible to people with reduced mobility. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms (8 beds 90x200 cm, can be twinned), two shower rooms, two toilets. The outside area has garden furniture with barbecue. Wood is extra and it is possible to rent sheets.
