La voie verte de Nay à Baliros
The bastide of Nay is the starting point of a gentle visit of the fertile plain located on the left bank of the Gave de Pau. The itinerary strolls along the river and then, crossing the irrigation canals of the farmlands, ends up strolling from one village to the other, appreciating the stone walls of the village
On the left bank of the Gave de Pau, saddle up for a gentle visit to the Nay plain. The bastide of this city steeped in history is the starting point for a walk along the water of the Gave; it follows the route of the Véloroute du Piémont Pyrénéen (V81) and also crosses the network of irrigation canals. The latter ensure the water supply of the fertile lands and the movement of the millstones of the mills which, like their miller, are today asleep.
