La Grande Traversée VTT des Pyrénées - Urepel - Baigorri
For the scenery, beech forests, green pastures and thick ferns. For the technical it's just as varied: fast trails and singles, steep climbs often with the the bike on your shoulders. Without doubt the most difficult stage of this Grande Traversée.
This is a large route with two very interesting routes for mountain biking and a connecting section between the two, which is frustrating because after some tough climbs and some nice sections, however, we expect a nice descent, but no, it's tarmac! From the Elhorrieta pass, a small descent leads to the foot of a path where the push of the bike is necessary, after a small pass, very nice mountain bike, but be careful, sometimes it is better not to fall. Finally, from the Ispegi pass, the monotrace is fantastic, but not for everyone, as some passages are quite exposed.
