Col de l'Abérouat
The ascent to Lescun is similar to a small mountain pass. Continuing the ascent to the Labérouat refuge is reserved for cyclists looking for a major challenge: a very irregular section with dreadful percentages. The panorama over the Lescun cirque invites you to take a break!
If the climb to the village of Lescun is similar to a small mountain pass, accessible to all (7.6% average, but with 4 km in a row at an average of almost 9%), continuing the ascent to the Labérouat refuge is to be reserved for trained cyclists looking for a major challenge. This second part is very irregular and has some formidable gradients (sometimes 16%). As there is very little rest time, you will have to be brave to challenge the last three kilometres (12.5% average). However, the panorama of the Lescun cirque everywhere encourages you to take a restful break.
