Circuit vélo 7 : circuit des forges et de la croix des hauteurs
A circuit combining discovery and heritage, to be reserved for cycle tourists and cyclists equipped with an electrically-assisted bicycle. It will take you to the site of the ancient forges of Arthez d'Asson, before climbing up to Lestelle-Bétharram with an exceptional panorama.
This tour takes in the southern part of the Pays de Nay, via a stretch of the V81/Vélosud cycle route and the Baburet footbridge. The Baburet footbridge, which once linked the Ouzoum valley to the Coarraze-Nay railway station, takes you to the site of the old forges that were the foundation of Arthez d'Asson. You'll then discover the exceptional panorama of the "croix des hauteurs" at Lestelle-Bétharram. A circuit combining natural discoveries and heritage, suitable for more experienced cyclists and those equipped with an electric-assist bike.
