From Tardets to the Bosmendieta mountain pasture, we set off on a little adventure in isolated country; the Chapeau de Gendarme greets your courage and, once you've passed the last houses, you're off to the great outdoors, with the sensation of gaining altitude on a regular trail, where everyone will have to find the pedaling frequency that suits them best for the long haul, and which is very pleasant because it's panoramic. Up here, you can see all the way from Mauléon to the Pic d'Orhy, via the Pic d'Anie.
