Can you imagine a Xiberotar who hasn't climbed La Madeleine? This hill overlooking Tardets, named after the patron saint of its chapel, is one of Soule's not-to-be-missed climbs, so visible is this watchtower from everywhere, and so remarkable is its panorama. So we had to come up with a mountain bike circuit that would challenge the slopes of the Madeleine, for the taste of effort and the pleasure of the eyes. This is an invigorating circuit, necessarily physical as it includes two ascents of the Madeleine, once via the steep asphalt route on the southern slope, the second time via the more reasonable byways of the Roquiague valley and the Col de Saratsaga. One Madeleine climbed, the second offered!
