N°89 Le Bédat

This walk from the village of Herrère takes you to wonderland. The descent through moors and forests on the banks of the Ossau Stream brings you up close and personal with nature. It runs along the untamed path in a tropical atmosphere on the banks of the Ossau Stream.

How to get there

From the Oloron Sainte-Marie train station, take the bypass in all directions, then follow signs for Pau. Continue on the RN134 to the traffic circle and keep going straight ahead. In Herrère, after the level crossing, turn right towards Arudy, then right again to enter Herrère. Follow the signs for the church, and in front of the church turn left onto "rue du Presbytère", then left again onto "rue des Pyrénées", and you've reached the starting point at the sign presenting the hike.
