In the summertime, these ridges are a great opportunity for a panoramic hike between the Garazi valley and the upper Nive valley. Starting from the perched meadows of Ernaga, frequented by Manech sheep, this itinerary goes around the summit of Gatarre, one of the eminences of this ridge directly connected with the sky and the distant horizons. The viewpoints are remarkable in all directions and the walk is enhanced by unusual rocks and other monoliths of pudding. But also the discovery of the dolmen of Buluntza, proving that these paths are trodden by the pastor man since the dawn of time.
