The Basque Corniche connects the bay of Saint-Jean-De-Luz and the Bay of Hendaye.

This itinerary connects these two emblematic places of the Basque Country, passing by the Fort of Socoa and the Castle of Abbadia. So many names that make you dream!

The historical itinerary is no longer accessible for security reasons (landslides). This new path, far from the traffic, allows you to discover beautiful panoramas on the Pyrenees as well as on the Atlantic Ocean.

The Basque coast reveals itself to you in the most beautiful way!



How to get there

From exit 3 on the A63, take the N10 towards St-Jean-de-Luz, for 1.9 km. Turn left at the traffic lights at the police station. Cross the bridge over the railroad and turn right immediately after on rue de Habas. Go to the Passicot parking lot (free). Walk to Place Louis XIV.
