La Panoramique de Bézou

In the heart of the Gourette cirque, escape from the heights. On arrival at the gondola station, this itinerary takes you past an old shepherd's hut, an authentic vestige of a bygone era. At the highest point of the walk, you can admire the Bézou plateau, then descend through the lawns.
In July and August, you can take the gondola up (pedestrian pass available from the ticket office), or leave from the village via Le Bois Noir. Allow an extra 1h30 for the walk.
In winter, this trail is accessible only on snowshoes, and is not suitable for pedestrians (bring your ski or pedestrian pass if you want to go up with the TC de Bézou: see La panoramique snowshoe trail).
