Halzamendi

This itinerary allows the hiker to discover the southern side of the Baigura. From the Aldudes valley to the Laka valley, from La Rhune to the first high peaks of Bearn, such as the Pic d'Anie, among others, this round trip reveals some very beautiful landscapes. During the ascent, the crossing of heather moors, meadows, woods, etc. may allow you to observe a rich and diversified wildlife. If you look up, you will see griffon vultures and many other birds of prey, which will delight ornithology enthusiasts. Finally, at the top of the Halzamendi, efforts will be rewarded by a quiet setting with views.
