De Lahitte-Toupière à Anoye

If the landscapes covered by this stage show a certain continuity, combining the bottom of agricultural valleys and wooded hills, this section of the Chemin d'Arles is half Bigourdan and half Béarnais. The entrance to Béarn is marked by a beautiful view of the Pyrenees.

If the landscapes covered by this stage show a certain continuity, combining agricultural valleys and wooded hills, this section of the Way of Arles is half Bigourdan, half Bearn, since it leaves the department of Hautes-Pyrénées to enter that of Pyrénées-Atlantiques. The entry in Béarn is marked by a beautiful point of view on the chain of the Pyrenees.

How to get there

The village of Lahitte-Toupière is on the D943 between Morlaas (north-east of Pau) and Maubourguet (Hautes-Pyrénées), 11 km after Lembeye and 5 km before Maubourguet. The Lahitte-Toupière church is on the edge of the D943 (parking lot).
