The circuit guides you on the traces of the Benedictine monks. The Bastide of Larreule was created at the end of the XIIIth century by the Benedictine monks, at the foot of the Abbey dating from the Xth century. It is one of the 3 most important abbeys of Bearn. The interior is notably composed of a High Altar "the Assumption", of 2 statues "the Virgin and the Child" and "Saint Loup" carved in a half tree trunk split vertically. The circuit also serves, on either side of the banks of the Uzan and Luy de Béarn rivers, two other towns: Uzan and Mazerolles, ancient bastides founded by the Benedictines of Larreule.
