Lacommande, a stopover in Béarn on the Arles route of the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela. The communal gîte d'étape, open only to pilgrims, is located in the hills between Pau and Monein, in the main building of the Commanderie, an essential part of the hospital network set up by Gaston IV the Crusader.
You'll find a room with a large, fully-equipped kitchen, a shower, a toilet and 6 beds (80cm each) separated by awnings.
