Gîte d'étape communal Le P'tit Laà
Sauvegarde is a small village in the Béarn on the famous ‘Voie du Puy’ pilgrim route to Compostela. The gîte is located on the side of the route and is next to the 12th century Cistercian abbey. The gîte is designed for pilgrims and walkers crossing the GR65 path. Recently restored, the gîte now provides all possible comforts for lone pilgrims as well as couples and groups in a calm and cloistered setting. It is an ideal base from which to recuperate before setting off again. There is an onsite bar / restaurant; snacks can also be purchased from the shop. Tethered horses and donkeys are welcome.
