📍 Mazerolles
Landes humides du bois de la Seube
In the Béarn region, starting from Cescau (a village near Mazerolles), discover the wet moorlands of the Bois de la Seube.
A wetland is not just a stretch of water, it's also a rich mosaic of natural environments where specific flora and fauna thrive. Come and discover a multitude of species hidden in these moors: garter snakes, butterflies, southern tree frogs and birds such as the spotted woodpecker. You can also observe a botanical Noah's Ark of marsh lilies, heather and sphagnum moss... An interpretation trail awaits you, with a number of panels on the flora and fauna. And don't forget your boots!
