Forêt domaniale de Bastard

The Bois de Bastard is a national forest of 300 hectares located to the north of Pau, on the territory of Pont-Long. A leisure area at the gates of the city, it is both a haven for biodiversity and a forest exploited for its wood.

It is a leisure area for children: large shaded paths with no automobile traffic, accessible on foot, by bicycle or with pushchairs.

The path around the woods is 7 km long.

The Arles Way (Way of Saint James, GR®653) crosses it and links Morlaàs with Lescar.
