Port de Castet

This very pretty plateau (868 m) of pastures and forests offers a landscape that combines large pastoral areas and forest areas facing the Plateau du Bénou, on the western side of the Ossau Valley.

It is accessible by a small winding road from the village of Castet, and is a real challenge for cyclists (10% slope). From the month of June this beautiful plateau becomes the territory of the herds. From the plateau: many family walks, hiking trails, mountain bike trails and in summer, walks with donkeys.
