Passerelle d'Holzarte

Located in the commune of Larrau, the Holzarte footbridge overlooks the 180 m high Olhadubi gorge. It is one of the most spectacular and popular natural sites in the western Pyrenees. Access is from the Logibar inn (2 km before the village). It's an hour's walk through undergrowth. It is also possible to hike around the gorge (4-5 h).

Please note: this is a difficult hike for sporty, experienced walkers, and is not recommended for children!

Good walking shoes are essential.

Shuttle service from Tardets: line 60, Monday to Sunday in July and August.

How to get there

On leaving Tardets, take the D26 towards Larrau. 2 km before the village of Larrau, park near "Logibar" (start on the path towards the suspension bridge).
