Lac du Gabas

Located at less than 7 kms from the highway A64 (Soumoulou exit), this beautiful 220 hectare lake will offer you an incredible view on the Pyrenees Mountains. The orientation table at the Maison Pêche Nature in Eslourenties-Daban provides you the opportunity to identify a lot of the Pyrenees’s peaks. You can do the tour of the lake by foot or by bike. Nautical activities are available. Fishing is allowed with a permit in authorized areas on riversides and on a boat. Picnic areas are at your disposal all around the lake.

The basins downstream on the Gabas River at the Site Environnement Pêche are wonderful places to allow children to learn fishing. The Site Environnement Pêche is handicap accessible. A trail connects this site to the lake.
