Mathieu Palette - Ébéniste et designer

A graduate of the Saint-Luc design school in Tournai, Belgium, Mathieu Palette's work is a committed response to the climate emergency. He favors the use of wood and bio-sourced panels, integrating natural and sustainable materials into the heart of his creations. His singular approach is particularly illustrated by the recycling of wood he gleans on his walks, such as pieces of timber washed up on beaches. Transformed into furniture or unique sculptures, these fragments of wood, marked by the passage of time, become silent witnesses to stories of adventure and extraordinary journeys, inviting the imagination to escape.
