Galerie d'Art Luz 26
The LUZ 26 art gallery specializes in abstract paintings and photographs from the 1950s to 2000. Its vocation is to make known and appreciate the little known artists of the New School of Paris, born after the 2nd world war, among whom JM Calmettes, P. Charlot, M. Bouqueton, L. Nallart, Louttres-Bissière, beside O. Gauthier, J. Germain or P.Dmitrienko. One will also discover the subtle and delicate art of collage, mixing gouache, watercolor, shreds of torn posters and other materials, and artists such as R.Preaux, A.Shanon or A.Aeschbacher. As for photography, the gallery favors the velvety quality of silver prints and the rarity of numbered prints. The photographer Luc Fournol said "The important thing in photography is the encounter". The gallery owner Denis Janneau defends the artists he has been collecting himself for a long time.
