Atelier AM

Atelier AM is located in the centre of Lagor, a village between Monein and Orthez. Amandine Antunez creates textures from materials such as plaster, clay, paper... She particularly develops the technique of stucco marble (plaster tinted in the mass), a rare and unknown know-how that appeared in the 17th century and has disappeared from decorative practices. It is a paste whose structure is worked (cuts, veining, composition), which takes on the appearance of marble and gives the sensation of stone. Her creations (interior decoration, furniture, objects, tableware...) are all original and decorated with natural pigments, respecting the traditional gestures of Italian artists of the 17th century. She organizes creative workshops for all to discover this know-how.
