Amma Terre et Mad'in Aquiu

In Monein, between Orthez and Pau, the Mad'in Aquiu association showcases the work of local designers and craftspeople, providing a showcase for a wide range of products: ceramics, textiles, jewelry, soapmaking, decoration and much more.

The aim is to promote local craftsmanship and create a meeting place for designers and the public. The Mad'in Aquiu boutique aims to be a friendly, inspiring place where you can discover and buy unique pieces, while supporting the region's creative economy.

Among the artisans, Amma Terre is a Béarn-based ceramist specializing in the Raku technique. Her creations combine Japanese tradition and contemporary sensibility. Her workshop is a place of discovery where she shares her passion for earth and fire, two elements at the heart of her work.
